Hello everyone,
I'm currently working on my bachelor's thesis in ANSYS APDL and I need to create cohesive zones between multiple elements as shown on picture provided. I've created element groups for each element using CM and named them corresponding to their number from CM1 to CM8.
When I want to create cohesive zone between two elements using CZMESH, for example CZMESH,CM1,CM2, it works. But when I want to create the same for the next line, e.g. CZMESH,CM1,CM5, it doesn't work.
I know the problem is probably in the fact, that CZMESH creates new nodes and therefore I can't select the original ones.
Has anyone figured this out?
