I am asking this question because I am curious about how to model an equivalent circuit to interpret EIS data.
If you know of a paper on how to pre-assume ECM based on EIS data, I would be very grateful if you could let me know the DOI.

The equivalent circuit fitting of the EIS experimental data can be done through softwares that maybe preinstalled in your PC with potentiostat software. However there are some other available softwares (on subscription basis like Zsimpwin) too that can help you with the fitting.
Would you tell the make-model of potentiostat you are using for Impedance analysis ? because usually they have inbuilt software to do fitting.
The circuit fitting depends on the curve you get in nyquist plot. Through the characteristic of curve you can select the elements of circuit (a theoretical circuit) and try to fit them with your experimental data (with real experimental data).

It contains the ZSim and ZFit software which are effective tools for learning impedance spectroscopy.

We have different software as mentioned by Jean-Paul Diard Mohit Kumar to fit EIS impedance data but if you don't have basic knowledge of your sample and impedance nyquist or cole cole plot. It will be difficult to say exactly which circuit will give you best fit because we can fit EIS impedance data by different circuit. Therefore by seeing your plot you can decide the circuit. After fitting you may get information of impedance and capacitance. You can also talk about diffusion.
