1. You should be able to solve this simply by usig a stable isotope labeled internal standard. Check the concetration VS response of the IS...If it is the same as the analyte, then you are ibusiness.

2. Do you see this ionization enhacement in a cncentration curve prepared in neat solution, or only from matrix? (assuming this method is done from a biolgical matrix). If the latter, it may be that you have matrix suppression that is prominent at low analyte concentratios and overcome at high analyte concentrations , thus giving the appearance of matrix enhancement. In this case, a stable isotope labelled internal standard will solve the problem as well.
