Well we know that ions like Cl-(passed out through channels) and Ca2+ (passed in through channels) during nerve impulse transmission but I am interested in knowing how concentration of these ions are maintained within the cell as far as I know Na+ ,K+ concentration could be balance with combined efforts of Na/K ATPase pump and Na , K pump.

I believe that this is a cell type-specific question. Chloride is maintained differently in principal cells vs. interneurons and in interneurons chloride is recycled differently in very young animals.
