Can anyone suggest me how to measure the surface temperature distribution of a heated object immersed in water? There might be some boiling film around the object. The temperature distribution changes with time.
You have to check the absorption spectrum. If it is not too bad for liquid water in the far infrared (there are no rotational degrees of freedom in liquid water so it might be ok) then why not trying and FIR camera/sensor?
Thank you for the answers. I'll think about thermal imager, as Christian Binek said, I need to consider the absorption spectrum of vapor film, liquid water and the glass wall of water tank to the far infrared.
