In order to make scale for political attitudes, I want to built new scale for some attitudes such as; liberalism, conservatism, socialism and Islamic attitudes. Consequently, what are the items that can express each attitude?

Thank you for answering. I want to analyze the attitudes of mass public in Jordan. I think that there are many changes in Jordanian's attitudes espically with currient events such as "Arab Spring".

It seems like a really difficult task. would recommend to start with analysing the questionnaires used in World Values Survey (http://www.worldvaluessurvey.org), Afrobarometer (http://www.afrobarometer.org) and Asian Barometer (http://www.asianbarometer.org). All of them have questions measuring (certain aspects of) the topics you are interested in. Besides, a great number of publications is being written using this data.
