However, high voltage in the case of any shortage to metal parts of PPMS can destroy the system.

As far as my experience over using the PPMS is that there is no source of electric field in PPMS. We can’t measure P-E loop on PPMS.

I have hand on experience with ppms quite sometimes. In principle you can do PE loop from externaly supplied electric field.but using a E-field shield, otherwise it will destroy the few parts of ppms.
