There are so many ways, but most importantly, respecting international law, (Geneva convention) and other related conventions, treaties and protocols, focusing on hotspots of terrorism and conflict, (Middle East, West Africa, Libya, South Sudan, the Central African Republic, Northern Mozambique, Ethiopia, and Cameroon’s north-west and south-west regions) fairly implementing declarations (Declaration on Human rights, Delhi declaration), managing of digital technology, strengthening the global governance architecture, and moral and ethical leadership which seem to lack at this point in time (everyone is after power, money, comfort and convenience, humanity is long forgotten.
Managing the humanitarian impact and law without double judgement is a complex issue that requires a multifaceted approach. The International Court of Justice has made an excellent contribution to the issue and imperpretation of international humanitarian law, but other force such as political will, cultural attitudes, and social norms plays a role in determining how humanitarian issues are addressed.
