I am trying to make typeII diabetes model with 45% or 60% high-fat diet. Anyone has experence about this? I wonder if feed the rats with high fat diet since 2 month old, how long should I keep feeding them? Is there any standard to juge whether the model is successful made or not?(random glucose level, fast glucose level, body weight or other values?)

HFD is very successful to create a T2D model in rodents and both of your diets should work. I normally keep my animals on for 3 months but T2D can come earlier. You should do ITT, IPGTT and OGTT before the HFD and repeat every month to see the development of resistance. You can also dose the insulin secretion in response to the glucose tolerance test as well as of course fast glucose levels.
You need several components to achieve the T2D model, higher BW and fasting glycemia might only be the hallmarks of a pre-diabetic state.
I induced type 2 diabetes by a hyper fat diet but 50% normal regimen and 50% hypergras diet and I got a blood glucose value 40% higher than normal rats
