There is obviously no recipe for an article to be accepted automatically. However, there are guidelines to follow, some of which are below:
Topic originality: Your research should be a genuinely original contribution to new human knowledge, which does not mean that you should come up with a discovery or an invention.
Awareness about what is being done by your intellectual community: Publishing is necessarily relating to an intellectual community of knowledge and the way researchers in this community articulate their arguments, present their findings, deal with research methods, etc.
This presupposes that you are abreast with research in your area of specialization and knowledgeable.
Being acquainted with the editorial line of the targeted journal: If are targeting a specific journal, it is advisable to download a few articles from different periods to see whether the editor(s) prefer(s) contribution to theory, applied research, empirical studies, quantitative/qualitative, or quantitative-cum-qualitative ones.
