How to locate the isomorphous MgZn2 phase existing in AA7XXX-T6 using OM/SEM/FESEM imaging ? The context of the question is - the aluminium alloy has been applied with super plastic deformation , now due to intense stirring action the precipitates sizes would have changed ... so how I can locate the n and n' phases seperately using microstructural characterization?
The growth or fragmentation of these strengthening phases in A7XXX alloy prior SPD is the focal point of this study.

Hello brother, you can use SEM and EDS analysis to Find out phase particles. But you can not seperate them, rather than you have to write them type A, type B On.the basis of At% or composition.
For a clear view TEM together with EDS and SAED pattern is necessary.
