if the answer is yes you can check yours with others in some ways.but it is negative you have to sequence your pro with protocol i.e MALDI-MS/MS that is not easy.

If you have purified the proteins to (near) homogeneity, submit them to a protein sequencing facility to obtain at least part of the sequences. Compare the sequence to a database of protein sequences (e.g use BLAST at the US National Center for Biotechnology Information: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/guide/sequence-analysis/). This will show you which known proteins are most closely related to yours.

If the genome of your plant has been sequenced, you can check the identification of the protein against the genome annotation.

You can do this un-precious suggestion: determine the Molecular Weight of your protein(s) as accurately as you can using gel electrophoresis. Access a plant protein database. Compare the MW of your protein(s) with those in the database. Compare the plant species of origin as well. Hopefully you will get a few matches. That is a start.

@Kumar, you don't need an x-ray facility, that will be overkill. You just need an amino acid analyzer.
