I am modelling a specimen in APDL using SOLID186 and running static loads. While getting the results at specific Locations using Node(x,y,z) commands, Ansys gives me Zero! since it select the mide node for which no results is saved.
Can anyone help me how to figure it out in ADPL?

stress is calculated at the Gauss points and copied to corner nodes only. /EFACET,2 will interpolate results between the corner nodes, i.e. gives an averaged stress at midside nodes.

yes, you are right. Sorry. You can print the interpolated values at midside nodes using PRNSOL if PG is on, but there is no result associated with it.

If you need to get stresses from APDL and you are going to use node(x,y,z) you should call first
nsle,,corner
and then use node() command. nsle selects corner nodes attached to selected elements only and you get nearest corner node at (x,y,z) location.

Actually I've solved it by the solution like yours, but another way around, FIrst I selected the all nodes, then de-selected the mid nodes, then node()...
