How to get PLE spectra in DMF?

I want to collect PLE spectra for my nanoparticles dispersed in DMF. However, I found DMF itself has a very strong emission peak with intensity above 100 kcps. I found some people report PL emission spectra in DMF. I am wondering how they get rid of the interference of DMF.

Pleas run the PLE of DMF first as blank. Then run for sample dispersed in DMF. Select the deduction option for solvent in the program. You will obtain the PLE of your nanoparticles. You also can see the following:
