I am having an issue with UMAP-FlowJo; I am trying to generate UMAP with my flow cytometry data, although I am following all the steps in the video tutorial with FlowJo, unfortunately, there is always a message indicating "failed to create output". This happens also with FlowSOM, Could you please help me in this regard?

Unfortunately, not yet. Although I've tried some advises like: in order to make UMAP calculations possible, you have to install the software „R“ as well. Also, R has to install everything needed to run UMAP.
Start the R console application and copy/paste the code provided in the plugin documentation. It will install all components that are necessary for UMAP calculations in R. Also check if the application folder of R is set correctly in the FlowJo preferences. As soon as everything is set up, UMAP will run in FlowJo. However, in my case this didn't work (it might work for you though)

The issue seems to be with you R path set in the Diagnostics section of FlowJo. A typical R path for MacOS looks like: “/usr/local/bin/r” (no quotes). Please try updating the R path, restarting FlowJo and try running the plugin again.
