How to generate one allele knockout cell model using CRISPR/Cas9 tool?

Hi! I need to generate a monoallelic and then biallelic knockout cell model for a gene. I'm looking for the best tool to get the two cell models, I tried to do it using the CRISPR/Cas9 techniques and its CRISPR/Cas9n variant but I didn't have much success to generate the Heterozygous knockout model
