Do you have any experience with using MitoTracker Orange CMTMRos (Invitrogen)? I am trying to do some live imaging in co-culture between cells stained with MitoTracker and unstained cells (not fixation). However, the stain is so strong that when the cells are put in co-culture, every cell is stained. We have tried the manufacturer's protocols, washing the stained cells 3x with media before co-culturing, still, the problem persists. If you have a good solution, I would highly appreciate it!
