Can anyone please explain how to find the particle size from UV visible spectrum of nanoparticles.
This is not necessarily trivial, unless your particles have a resonance which is size dependent.

Size and concentration determination for Gold NPs is reported using UV-Vis spectra, and its very easy, carefully look at supporting info of the below mentioned paper. For other metals people mostly use AAS or ICP-MS. and not all the metals show SPR in visible region.. Find the attached link, its very helpful

is it possible to determine the size of other metal nanoparticles like AgNPs and carbon based nanoparticles like graphene quantum dots.

In all cases, it is better to use an explicit particle sizing technique such as DLS
Hi Rangasamy, if your particle have single absorption maximum in UV, you can calculate by "Tauc plot" which gives the band gap = ~ particle size. if your particle have single core this method works fine. for multi shell structure it wont work. for more information, refer the figure 2 b, in the attached file. Good luck. if you want to calculate from the emission wavelength use "Brus equation".
