I want to determine the Effective permeability (Peff) for the bioactive through insitu small intestinal perfusion study. I read the articles related to this method. Researchers are using this method to determine the Peff for the drugs. So they dilute the drug with buffer and they are passing through the intestine. The bioactive I'm using is lipid soluble, so I'm using oil-water emulsion and the emulsifier is protein. It has to be digested in the stomach phase. How could I proceed. I think I can't take it the emulsion straight for the intestinal perfusion study. How could I incorporate the digestion step before the intestine?

Please help..
