A mettalic bar is fitted in a plastic block with a hole. There may be hand calculation formulas to calculate force required to pull out the bar from plastic block. How do I find out that force in workbench nonlinear contact analysis? Which critical areas needs to be focused? Thanks in advance for inputs.

Hello Aravinth Kamaraj Please let me know your query, I found solution to my problem.
Basically i have a valve and plunger where plunger is inserted with a and i need to find out the pulling force required to pull the plunger out of valve.
First you would want to perform assembly simulation and then request force reaction at a desired location to know the pull out force. However, be careful with stress strain values entered and also appropriate meshing in the critical areas.
