I am struggling from couple of months and I did not found correct answers to my queries.

My aim is to find miRNAs which can target my gene of interest (JPH2) and induce or up-regulate its expression. There are most of the paper and data available for inhibition or down regulation by miRNA but few studies showed that miRNA can taget promoter region of gene and can induce its expression. I have been through all the available tools for miRNA and gene promoter binding but they all have stopped working including miRWalk2.0 as its latest version 3.0 do not predict for promoter region, also other tools predict mostly for 3'UTR, 5'UTR and CDS. .

I will highly appreciate if somebody can help me to find correct miRNA candidate which can up-regulate gene expression of JPH2.Thanks
