How to extract rat placenta on day E7?

I would like to extract placenta of rats on E7 in order to perform qPCR, but I don't know how to dissect the tissue properly.

Hi Mohamed,

The problem is that on E7 the embrios are too small to dissect this way. I can barely identify the placenta and fetus. Do you have any hints on how to perform it with only 7 days of gestation?
