For reaching the goal of my project, I need prostistine graphene or pristine graphene nanoplatelets (p-GNP) and for this I need highly exfoliated graphite (mechanochemical exfoliation for production of p-GNPs).
At the moment I use the microwave exfoliation method, but the problem is, when the upper layer of grahite particles exfoliate, the lower layer is no longer heated by the microwave radiation and there it does not exfoliated properly and on the ground, there is comparably much unexfoliated graphite on the ground.
Any ideas, how I could exfoliate it properly without using any vacuum??
No, thats not wgat I look for. I am able to produce p-GNP, but have problems with exfoliating my intercalated carbon compound, because these pesky unexfoliated bits remain at the bottom.

Your "pesky" problem can be solved by microwaving graphite/ionic liquid dispersion.. reported yield of mono and few-layer graphene is almost 100%.. read this Nature Chem paper: doi:10.1038/nchem.2315
I requested the full text, let' see maybe this is a good method, but I fear this may use one of the more expensive (RT)ILs.
