Nu=hD/k, I want to determine the Nusselt number under constant heat flux condition. Can anyone help to explain how to evaluate Tb which is the bulk temperature in FLUENT please? heat trasfer coefficient h=q''/(Tw-Tb)
In the CFD-Post, you can calculate the bulk temperature by using post progressing menu, then select mass average or area average temperature, with consider whole of domain of the case.
As the temperature is mass dependent quantity not area dependent like pressure, you must calculate local Tb for a cross-sectional plane (3D) and line(2D) with mass weighted average and wall temperature you must calculate it with area weighted average.
Temperature and also any specific property is an intrinsic property and not dependent on mass. However, the energy or the enthalpy could be considered for mass averaging and getting average temperature

As for as Tb is concerned, It can be find by taking mass weighted average temperature of fluid domain. However, if you are only interested in findind h, there is no need to find Tb but rather you can calculate it directly in fluent by selecting area weighted average then find the average heat transfer coefficient.
First, create several surfaces as cross sections (along a channel for example).
Then, go to the "Reports" and select "Surface integrals".
Next, select "mass weighted average" from "Report type".
Finally, select "temperature" and created sufaces from "Field variables" and "Surfaces", respectively.
Using this instruction you can "Compute" Tb in created cross sections. It will be shown in console screen. you can also write them in a file by selecting "write" instead of "Compute".
