How to enrich mouse monocytes using STEM CELL mouse monocyte enrichment kit?

I have used the STEM CELL Mouse Monocyte Enrichment Kit (Cat#19861A) to enrich monocytes from PBMCs. After lysing red blood cells for 15 minutes on ice, I started with 22 million cells. However, after the enrichment process, I only recovered 30,000 cells. I'm looking for ways to improve the efficiency of this enrichment method.
