Hi, I have been looking into Rotary Kiln or direct contact heat exchanger modelling in Ansys Fluent or CFX. I am facing trouble in assigning boundary conditions in this model. Its a counter-current flow with direct contact among both phases. There is no separating wall between gas and solid or liquid. Inlet of one phase becomes outlet for other and vice-versa. Has anyone come across such issue. I would welcome any constructive comments.

This case is described as conjugate heat transfer. It can be solved using Ansys-Fluent. Beware that different domains ave different mesh requirements.

Thanks Mansour, I looked into tutorial guide specially multiphase related problems. THis problem is different in a way that I have two sets of inlet velocities and outlets to be assigned in opposite directions. But in geometry I have only one inlet and one outlet.
