Hello

We are working with verteporfin (VP) and it is known that it has diverse action on cancer cells related to the presence of light. I appreciate knowing a simple way to photoactivate VP in cell culture? and to know how long it is activated when the cells are kept in the dark in the incubator?

When we treat the cells with VP under the hood with normal light we observed cell proliferation but not in the darkness does it means that VP was photoactivated?

Thank you for your advice
