How to Dissolve N-LLauroylsarcosine, Neat?

I am making Queens Lysis Buffer (0.01 M Tris, 0.01 M NaCl, 0.01 M sodium EDTA and 10% n-lauroylsarcosine, pH 8.0) but having trouble dissolving the N-Lauroylsarcosine. I am am using N-Lauroylsarcosine not N-Lauroylsarcosine sodium salt and am wondering if there is anything I can add to make it dissolve.

My guess is that adding sodium hydroxide to create the sodium salt in situ will help to dissolve it, since the sodium salt is soluble up to 10%, but you will have to be very careful not to overshoot the final pH you want. It would be easier to use the sodium salt.
