I am using a lipophilic compunds and used DMSO less than 0.1% to dissolve it and prepared stock solutions out of it.. But when I put the drug in media to be used on the cells, it crystallises. I tried dilution several times before the final media concentration it still didn't work.. Do you have any other solution for that? My cells are HepG2 and the media used is MEM

It is not 100% clear from your question what your stock solvent is. You should solve your compound entirely in DMSO for your stock. It depends on your application, but usually, a stock concentration of 20 mM is fine. Then your solvent in the nutrition medium should not exceed 1%. It also depends on how tolerant your cell line is. Everything in the range from 0.1 to 1% is commonly used. Also, of course, in dependency of the used solved. E.g., ethanol has stronger cytotoxic potencies. In case you still see emulsions in your medium during the first titration step, make a lower stock concentration, e.g. 1 mM or 500 uM. I hope that helps.
