In my extraction experiment there are two phases, aqueous phase consists of water while organic phase is a mixture of diethylamine and toluene and the concentration of diethylamine in toluene is 1M. As diethylamine being surface active solute which transfers towards aqueous phase across the interface formed between both the phases.
My query is without knowing the initial concentration of solute (diethylamine) transfered in the aqueous phase how can we dilute the aqueous phase sample for further analysis of LC?
