My samples are few decades old, sometimes really small, mostly with few fibers of wood attached. So some peaks from wood might come into play, despite me trying to get rid of them. Spectra of the standards seem so alike. Would anybody have an advice what peak/peaks to hold on to while differentiating those substances in old plywoods? I am using ATR with Thermo Fisher - Nicolet iS 10 device.

Thank you in advance.
