I it unicellular or mycelial? If its a mycelial fungus, cfu is not a valid concept of cellular titer

Phil Geis Yes, it's a mycelial fungus. So I’ll be using a hemocytometer to calculate the spore concentration in terms of spores/ml. However, I was wondering—are there any established techniques or processes through which CFU (colony-forming units) can still be determined for such fungi? Might count colonies through dilution to extinction and at early days after inoculation
