Is there any guideline to determine the validity period of a calibration curve ( How often it should be updated/how long can use a calibration curve( some methods, for example, sulphate determination, when a buffer solution is prepared, a new calibration curve should be constructed according to standard methods ,APHA) How do we decide on other colourimetric methods?
My opinion is that the best practice is to construct a calibration curve each time you perform the assay, unless you have established by experience that the curves are consistently essentially identical each time.
