I can calculate the height of parabola based on angular velocity and radius but the problem become complex as this rotating cylinder has various holes on top half of its circumference. Also, the top edge of this cylinder (radius = 5”) is about 1” extended inward to prevent the liquid (glass in this case) overflow. The liquid is continuously flowing in the cylinder and exiting from the side holes. I am interested to determine the maximum flow that this cylinder can handle at certain rpm without spilling the liquid out from the top.
