How to determine the N-terminal and C-teeminal components for BiFC assay?

I am planning BiFC assay to check the interaction of a transcription factor with another protein. I shall use pSATN vectors. Should the transcription factor be used for N terminal or C terminal component?

It will be very much helpful if someone can provide a protocol for this experiment.
