Since my childhood till now i have learnt by myself that the current world is highly paradoxical in the sense that it shows us that manifestations of the true, the good and the beautiful may coexist even in the same individual with manifestations of the untrue, the evil, and the ugly.
Since my childhood till now i have learnt by myself that the current world is highly iinjust in the sense that a few people have almost everything and many, many people have almost nothing.
There is not such a "learning by myself". In any situation, according to what one wants, searches, desires, longs for etc., there is always a teacher, visible or invisible, though very likely a person is not aware of that.
You can learn the basics of something from someone else, then extend those learnings to learn something on your own. In Calculus we were given many examples of speed and acceleration, the first and second derivatives of a distance equation. I'll never forget the time I asked the Math prof if we could take the derivative of acceleration, the rate at which acceleration was changing, or the third derivative. Could I then take the next derivative, and the next, and so on and so on? He excitedly agreed, and I could tell that he could tell that I had extended his teachings on my own.
