For example, if I want to find the stochastic OPF of a system, shift factors can provide a way to find shifted power for different scenarios. Therefore, OPF for each scenario is not required but only for base case. This will reduce simulation time. Please share relevant code if possible. Thanks.
Wind farms are providing power with leading power factor, and for system stability point view 08 lag power factor is more suitable. Hence line shift factor could be decided on the basis of load area power factor with the base demand at off peak load for including wind farms in system.....
Do you mean the line outage sensitivity factors or the generation shift factors?

I want to do OPF of base case and then, want replace OPF for scenarios, with sensitivity factors. For example, for line outage OPF, we do OPF for base case while use line outage factors to check line flow limits. However, I want such shift factors which can sense change in load and wind farm output and its effect on . I hope this would have clear my idea. I will wait for your kind reply.
