Hello Arabidopsis researchers,
I was trying to use the iSect tool for designing primers of T-DNA insertion lines. However, when I am entering the stock number (all of them starts with CS), it seems they are not found by the tool, whereas SALK identifiers can provide right primers. Can anyone help provide an answer ?
My lines are
CS156
CS16438
None of them provide any primers when using iSect tool - http://signal.salk.edu/tdnaprimers.2.html

Hi Arijit, the 2 lines are it seems not T-DNA insertions but fast neutron and EMS mutants, respectively. The cs-number is the number of the stock center ABRC and not the name of the line. To find info about genotyping you can check the publications from which those lines come. Publication can be found e.g. via TAIR (https://www.arabidopsis.org search Germplasm for your CS numbers), or NASC (https://arabidopsis.info/BasicForm (search with your CS number is possible too). Sometimes you can also just google it.
