Hi everyone,

I`m simulating a gas dispersion problem using Multi-component transport species (without reaction) in ANSYS-FLUENT. I`m considering the dispersion of one species (H2S) using the cell zone modeling, so I will have only H2S and air. I would like to consider the dispersion of H2S with a mass flow rate equal to 7 (kg/s) and the H2S should have a mass fraction equal to 0.29 (kg/m3). In Fluent inputs as in the attached file, there is an option to define the Mass source and also the H2S source ! I`m confusing where to define mass fraction of the H2S and where to define the mass flow rate ? based on the cell zone method !

Is the Mass source in the attached file means the total mass flow rate of the H2S ? and is the H2S source means the mass fraction of H2S ?

I would be grateful if anyone can clarify this for me ?

Regards,

Abdelkader
