Hello. I am trying to reproduce the implementation of Shape Memory Alloy Model described in the paper (using PDE module):

"Implementation of a model taking into account the asymmetry between tension and compression, the temperature effects in a finite element code for shape memory alloys structures calculations", and I am following the chart given in Fig. 2 of the paper (which describes its implementation algorithm in COMSOL).

To follow the algorithm I need to define the "Principle of virtual work".

Any tips would be warmly appreciated.
