In explicit solver , you can define general contact to take into account all the faces in model included the rigid impacted faces

Another way, you can define a pair of contact faces in deformable and rigid body using panalety or kinamatic contact method

you should Go through the following

interaction ---> contact---> normal behavior : hard contact

and tangential behavior : penalty
