I am not getting peak matching after using Gaussian functions. I have followed origin pro 9 tutorial but I am not able to find the error. Only one peak is matching
Without see it your data is difficult to say what is the problem.
A potential reason could be that you have one peak with a area substantially bigger that the other peaks. This can lead Origin to fit several Gaussians to the same peak. You can solve this problem by dividing the data in several pieces when possible. If is not possible then you can restrain the peaks positions by using limits (it is in: 'Fit Peak Parameters').
Also it can help if you adjust manually the 'fit peak parameters' so that the rough match for the position, width and height, or position and area of all the peaks.
I am not familiar with origin fitting. I recommend to use the Raman software for fitting, so that you can easily change any paramaters to get a reasonable result.
