I am using ncode designlife for the fatigue life prediction of automotive components. Premium material data is not available to me, so how I can create user defined material property?
you should be knowing the material data values to be fed.Either S-N or E-N curve values.
Choose material manager in left side bar and u can create your own material properties
@Dayalan Purushothaman Sir, I tried in material manager but from material manager we can select only available materials, we can't create user defined material (mechanical properties, sn curve) .
If we can, then can you elaborate more?
As I have read in the tutorials its written that we need to do python scripting for the addition of materials with different properties (Which are not available in standard database)
Is that the only way(python scripting with .xdef file and .npd file) ...?
or is there any other provision for adding user defined material?
