I used a rainfall-runoff model to study catchment hydrology and got time-to-peak [hour], peak discharge [cms], and hydrograph duration [hour] for several catchments. Is it possible to construct hydrographs using these three inputs?
I assume some optimization methods are required to create specific shapes of hydrographs...Any ideas which curve should I use and how to create it?

Try "Triangular-shaped unit hydrograph" using the information you provided. It may work, I think.
An hydrograph can be represented by use a gamma fonction and the parameter of the hydrograph (time to peakm etc.) are related to the parameter of the gamma fonction.
You can find it in the litterature.
What time interval of a hydrograph are you trying to create, sub-daily, or daily discharge?
You might reference chapter 5 of Dingman (2015) for information on hydrograph analysis.

I understand that you have peak discharge (Qp) in m3/sec, time to peak (tp) in hour and the duration i.e time base (Tb) in hour. The catchment area A and rainfall volume P and its duration (d) are priors. Determine qp= Qp/(A*P). Determine the dimensionless factor k=qp*tp. Now any probabilistic unit hydrograph like gamma, Beta, fretchet or any other model can be fitted to draw the complete UH. The hydrograph can be drawn on reversion by multiplying the ordinates by rainfall volume and the catchment area. The paper by Nadrajah (2007) and Bhunya et al. (2007) may be of some help to you.

You can fit a unit hydrographic with some assumptions on the rising and receding limbs of the hydrographic. One approach you can try is Peak Rate Equation-Incremental Unit Hydrograph method. More details of the method and an example are in the following USDA/NRCS report:

Thanks so much for your reply! I read all the answers and materials you provided and decided to use Gamma function to simulate SUH.
I wrote a Python script to do it. The input parameter is time to peak, peak discharge, and observed Unit Hydrograph. The script tests different Gamma function factors to optimally match observed UH and SUH. The output is the optimal SUH and its associated Gamma shape factor.
This is a basic and simple way and I understand there are some other better ways. It will be great if we can continue this discussion and probably create more useful codes.

Peak discharge/runoff and time to peak?
I have two farms (A,B). if an irrigation event occur at farm A(rain, water flow) at farm A. at Farm A i have crop stage data and soil moisture data,i want to predict peak discharge and time to peak discharge (from A to B) using crop parameters and soil parameters. how can i do it using ANN(python or matlab).
