I have a technical/discussional question:

for example, I want to know if the cells isolated from the patients' blood have an effect on structural cells. so, I use cell co-culture experiments where at each experiment I use the control cells not that are not incubated with isolated blood cells and combined-culture. I count effect in percentage from control cells as at each time I seed cells technically is good to use that day control for control, right? So, I have the same patient and treat him. after some time I take his blood again, isolate the blood cells of interest, and do a co-culture again. Again, I count the difference from the control cells. How can I compare untreated and treated cells effect to structural cells - are there any counting methods to compare percentage or count the difference from baseline result, delta percentage or should I count by folds?
