I am working on an application where I need to convert the o/p voltage(in volts) of Piezoelectric acoustic sensor into pressure (in pascals). I wanna know how I would be able to do this by using COMSOL. Is there in functionality for the same.
For understanding the question please find the fig1 and fig2. which I have attached in the below. Fig1. shows the acoustic signal detected by the Piezoelectric sensor thats way its output value is given in the volts scale. My question is that how to convert this output voltage scale to pressure scale (Pascal) likewise in the fig2.
I would be grateful, if somebody guides me in this regard.

Dear Sorokhaibam,
For any transducer, in the first place you required to perform calibration in order to be able to convert any physical quantity into electrical signal. which means you have to know the input quantity and measure your sensor output, you do this several time and plot your data to figure out the conversion factor such that in your case (x volt/pascal) or whatever interested unit. You can plug this factor in COMSOL so that will calculate the pressure versus time.

Thank you so much sir, but how to plot this in COMSOL. I did in COMSOL only but I got the output value in voltage I would like to convert it in pressure. Please see the attached two fig. Actually, I would like to plot these two plots in a single grahp.

the first answer to this question explains what you have to do in the absence of a software such as COSMOL, where you would rely on experiments and calibration. The multiphysics analyses performed in COSMOL will actually compute the conversion factor between voltage and pressure mentioned above, without the need of experiments. However to do so you still need to perform a good number of different analyses (i.e. at different time points using your graphs as reference) within COSMOL.
In COSMOL you can output every quantity as a function of space or time. To plot it you need to satisfy all the following conditions:

P=e33*eo*V/(kt*d33*t) P=pressure output, e33=relative dielectric, eo=permittivity in vacuum, V= voltage from piezoelectric transducer, kt=coupling factor, d33=piezoelectric constant, t=thickness of piezoelectric layer.
The transducer will probably have a calibration curve supplied with it. Use that, because it will include the insertion loss and attenuation inherent in the transducer design and any impedance matching layers.
