I am developing HIV Viral Load Detection Assay, in that my Quantitative Standards are in Copies/mL, but I want to convert it to International Unit (IU)/mL as WHO recommendation to give results in IU/mL only.
Is there any Standard Formula for the same to convert Copies/mL to IU/mL?
As much i know there is no standard value for the same, we need to derived from HIV WHO Standard available at NIBSC which provides IU/mL concentration value. But How to convert it ?

If you are speaking about HIV viral load, HIV viral load results are not usually expressed in IU. But, the general IU conversion factor is 1.74 copies/IU, or 71,000 IU.
