I have 4 species, by doing its 16srDNA analysis its showing match with shigella spp. after doing its MLST via enterobase plateform it shows me ST of E.coli. how I can know the species type of my samples?

Sequencing of 16s is the best method for confirming so what is saying MLST?
In the other hand ST(shiga toxin) present in some E.coli strains.
yes i confirm all the species via 16s.. after this i want to find out the squence type via MLST.
as the MLST profile for eschritia and shigella is same according to wawrick enterobase software..
when i perform its MLST they show the ST of E. coli..
Since Shigella spp. is just a subgenus of E. coli, you can use phenotype methods to confirm Shigella, such as antigenic and biochemical properties according to the Bergey's manual.
