Currently, I am working on nano lipid carriers the issue that I am facing while formulating nano lipid carriers is that the solid lipid iam using in the formulating NLCs, is getting solidify after sometimes and causes phase separation of the formulation. I want to know this concept so please help me and share your knowledge with me so I can prepare well stable NLCs.

Solid lipids such as carnauba wax do pose a problem for NLC formation. NLC is usually an oil-in-water emulsion, i.e. direct emulsions. The waxes are selected depending on the application. For skin ointments, natural ingredients are chosen. NLC consists of three or more components: oil (wax), surfactant with the corresponding HLB (dodecyl glycoside), co-solvent. The latter regulates HLB depending on its concentration and structure. For solid lipids, vegetable fats can be a co-solvent.

Milk is also an emulsion of butter in water with an emulsion stabilizer. The butter is solid. In your opinion, is the milk frozen or not? The problem is finding the right recipe for you.

Yuri Mirgorod Respected sir as per the procedure found from the literature first we take an aqueous phase to add surfactant heated at a suitable temperature. Simultaneously we take solid lipid, oil phase, cosurfactant heated 5 to 10 degree above their melting temperature drug added in that and finally adds slowly lipid isotropic mixture in the aqueous phase. My question here is that nano NLCs are prepared but when the temperature starts decreasing means reach room temperature solid lipids are separating. I am focusing now if we dissolve solid lipid in liquid lipid or surfactant then might be chances that solid lipids will not get solidify. Sir, I am taking GMS, Palmitic acid, Stearic acid, Span 40, and Span 60 and want to solubilize them in liquid lipid. Will you suggest to me liquid lipids in which these solid lipids become liquid at room temperature. Sir, I have seen from the literature they prepared above mentioned the procedure I have discussed. But this won't work practically. We can make emulsion but not nano and I want nanoemulsion.

Look at vegetable oils and pick your own with a low melting point.

Yuri Mirgorod Respected sir I used peanut oil, castor oil, coconut oil, cottonseed oil, and olive oil besides these I had used MCT hair oil, I used also cremphor as a surfactant.

The selection of recipes is troublesome. It is not for nothing that there are many patents and they cannot be repeated, because spontaneous microemulsions are stable at the critical point of a multicomponent system.
