Hey, I am looking to start working on mouse cell line for some genomics experiments. I have the following requirements:
1) Normal chromosomes composition.
2) Possible to transfect.
3) Possible to create stable cell line with CRISPR.
4) Possible to synchronize.
5) Relatively easy to grow and maintain.
There are so many available cell lines that I got lost. Any recommendations?
I agree with James Gilbert
it is very important to know what you are looking to address. For instance you could use primary hepatocytes but if liver cells would not be good for addressing your question then this would not be useful. At least knowing the tissue you want the cells to come from could be useful.

My research is about 3D chromatin structure. My goal would be to investigate certain genes and how their expression affect the spatial position and conformation of their DNA. These gene are not tissue or developmental stage specific, thus no strict demands.
By "normal" I mean diploid (haploid works as well) cell with known chromosome structures, without major aberrations. Does it mean that no cancer cell line is suitable?
